Fabulous place,well located for everything, room was excellent, great parking for motorbikes or cars at the rear of the property,well out of the way of prying eyes, the staff are very helpful, and the breakfast was brilliant, all local and very tasty. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
A lovely place to visit. The hotel is a short walk to the center of things. Easy to visit the castle and church and ride the heritage railroad. Nice comfortable and clean room. Delicious evening meal available on request, which was fabulous. Breakfast made to order. Valerie, the owner, made me feel welcome.
Great little B&B right in the heart of Pickering. Stayed 3 nights withour biker friends. Lovely rooms, cleaned and serviced daily and a great breakfast. Lovely warm welcome from Val and her team, we will return!
Great value for money. We had spotlessly clean room, a warm comfortable bed and a fabulous breakfast of fresh , good quality local produce. Parking on site and a short walk to the town centre. Ticks all the boxes .
Excellent place to stay and found last minute. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, a really good location with walking distance to the town centre. The hotel had a really cosy and homely feel to it and the room was very nice, clean and spacious (as well as dog friendly!). Breakfast was great, plenty of it! Val was a fantastic host, very friendly and attentive. She had great knowledge of the local area and with great advice on Whitby and Staithes to visit. Hotel staff were also lovely and polite. We would stay again if we come back to Pickering!
What a lovely hotel. Very well situated on a quiet leafy road near to the town centre. Rooms are first rate, we stayed in two different rooms as Valerie squeezed us in at very short notice. Good selection of hot drinks in the room. Whole hotel decor to a very high standard. Lovely gardens at the back. Free car park. And the breakfast was amazing, all locally sourced, fabulous full English, lots of other choices too. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely delightful B n B. Stayed here for 3 nights with friends whilst touring around Yorkshire on motorbikes. Location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the middle of town, secure parking especially if like us you're on bikes. Ideal for exploring North Yorkshire moors/ Whitby etc. The rooms aren't massive but very well maintained, clean and beds are really comfy. All rooms had TV, tea/ coffee, nice bathrooms. WiFi works brilliantly. Val served us up fantastic breakfasts to set us up for the day, very generously portioned! For bikers- car park is gravel but easily negotiated, gates are locked at night. The car park can't be seen from the road. Thanks again Val, your hospitality was amazing and we look forward to seeing you again.
